I don't want to sound judgemental here but your argument is oversimplistic, overly romantic and incomplete.

Ideas are easy. Ideas are cheep. Committing to an artistic project is hard, and publishing a work of art is even harder still.

"art" does not have to be good or profound. There is such a thing is a poor work of art, but it is still art. Ascribing the word art only to the finest examples is a romanitic notion that does not make sence. Even a 'gifted' person can have a bad hair day... that is part of life.... and hence an essential part of culture. The majority of art work ever made is arguably of 'poor' quality, assuming you discount the social context of such works or the personal investment of individual makers working in good faith. Human growth is often achieved through mistakes and failures.

As for clarity of form... this is a relative quality not an absolute. Abiguity of form is both a valid subject and a valid means of describing a subject within any narrative because it is an essential phenomena of human experience. We would have no means of describing suspence, indecision or confusion without abiguity.

yeah. If all good ideas I had counted points in my artist-o-meter, I'd be just like Picasso or even greater. UAHUHA
