Azimov's early robot stories are more about artifical intelligance than computers as we know them today.
In some of these stories he had dedicated 'thinking machines' responsible for the economic management of the planet.
This is what I thought they would look like.
Original artefact aprox A3.
Drawing time aprox 40 hours over 1 year.
Pen and ink
Finished off with a touch of photoshop clouds.
1 year, wow. Glad you finished it. I used to love Isaac Azimov as a kid. I still do today really, although I haven't read anything of his for a while now. These could indeed be the thinking machines he describes.
Wow that's an amazing and futuristic concept of robots .. i feel some cyberpunk on it too, i really like it,
Just one comment like the one for " Through the looking glass " , i think that the background is too simple .. But the job is awsome !!
Very very nice !

When I forst saw it I was stunned by the contrast... it looked very surreal - I think that is in part due to the photoshop clouds. The detail is amazing... (I am going to have to read some Azimov in a couple of weeks after I move and wrap up school.)
Great ink work, probably my favorite one from you so far, though I must confess that I agree with the previous speaker about clouds in the background. Great all in all anyhow!

Another great piece, I love your abstract work the level of detail is staggering in this one. I think the clouds are a little bit out of place, you could have done much better if they were done by hand.
wow.........great detail as usual....i love the concept...i'd read some of those asimov stories...i dont remeber them quite well but this is an awesome depiction nonetheless
