I got a thing in the mail from a place that raises chicks and ducklings to purchase baby chickies. I was like "Dad pleeeaaasse!!!" He told me "...kfc?" and I just decided that was a no because I didn't want him to eat my pet.

Yes. I get a lot of that too. Luckily I have no problem with eating animals, but I do have a problem with eating pets.

yeah, that's a big problem. its hard for me because I love chicken but chickens are so cute so when I eat its like "poor chicken *munch munch*"

I love quails... we used to have them in the aviary (along with the budgies and the zebra finches) when I was a kid. Quail chick are the most adorable things... ever. :)

I've yet to have the pleasure of Quail chicks. Given how much effort goes into Quail sex, I'm glad they are worth waiting for. :)
