Many art forms are embedded within some of the most profitable careers in western culture. Wall paintings are just one of countless forms of visual art.

Designers are artists. Designers create the form and aesthetic appearance of our entire industrialised culture. Your home, your transport, the furniture, the clothing your ware the equipment you use everyday. From tooth brushes to the city skyline. Everything.

Human civilization is a symphony of countless works of art, most of which are taken for granted by people who drift through life wanting 'stuff', uninterested in understanding what they already have. The more you understand about the history of culture the more you realise how rich our 'ordinary' lives are.

Choose any object on your desk at random, and there is a huge amount of embedded knowledge and history behind its existence. Often the story behind everyday objects is thousands of years old involving hundreds of creative people. Just google any object and you very quickly there is nothing 'ordinary' about ordinary things.

Only boring people get bored.

Good day to ya!

Cindee again from *hippies

Just a quick note...

Not sure that you were able to see what *racingspoons wrote about you and your artwork in our last Far Out Features and I just thought it was so groovy of him to do that I didn't want you to not see it as we change our journal every Friday and now it will be gone. So here's what he wrote and what was featured. ;)

:bulletgreen:Featured by *racingspoons :bulletgreen:

racingspoons said the following:

:iconnewepoch: does not have many drawings posted, but the few he does have are a product of his scientific, mathematic, visionary mind. His drawings display harmony in numbers, knowledge, and spirit. I'd love to see more.

I think you are absolutely right, I also don't think it's right to gang up on someone like that, so what if she de-watches people? This is not a popularity contest, we should just share and appreciate art
